During the spring of 2002, I was working with a co-worker at Bento Box building the ZeD beta site for the CBC. ZeD was a site that allowed users to upload and share movies, art, music and other content that they had created. The best of what was uploaded was then broadcast on ZeD's television counterpart.

The site was designed to reflect that ZeD was both a TV program and a web database of user-generated content. The gears and pipes that made up the look of the site were photographed from found objects lying around the TV studio that were eventually used as part of the set.
